An ingenious piece of technology, this mixproof valve from Bardiani. Designed to keep two different liquids separate and prevent contamination with a non-sanitary liquid. Ideal for process engineering: the number of valves is significantly reduced. The production line requires less space in the factory. This also makes automation more efficient.


No concessions in terms of hygiene and quality. Our mixproof valves are therefore always supplied full option. This means that we even manufacture the housing of our mixproof valve from a completely solid stainless steel bar material, supply double balanced valves and finish with annealed tubes and welded ends as standard.


All this results in minimum sensitivity to thermal operation in combination with maximum safety and operational reliability.


During maintenance, the valve bodies can remain in the process. The standard o-rings are widely available and easy to install. You also get flexibility: we can adjust the dimension of the pneumatic parts, the type of connection and other characteristics as desired.

The valve bodies are manufactured from one piece of solid stainless steel. Partly because of this, the valves are very robust and resistant to large forces and temperature fluctuations

Versions

  • Type BZAW3. This leak detection valve has a double o-ring with a leak chamber in between. In case of leakage, the product is discharged through an external valve. The external valves also serve to be able to clean by means of CIP.
  • Type ZAW is a very economical solution for simple mix proof situations. It is impervious to water hammer in the upper port. All elastomers are FDA approved
  • Type B925. This valve is designed for the most demanding applications. It is fully balanced and has a seat lift for the lower and upper spindle as standard.
  • Type B925 switches to 4 bar air pressure and delivers 35% energy savings. All elastomers are FDA approved.
  • Type B935. This tank bottom valve is designed for the most demanding applications. It is fully balanced and has a seat lift for the lower and upper spindle as standard. Type B935 switches to 4 bar air pressure and delivers 35% energy savings. All elastomers are FDA approved.
  • Type PMO. With this valve, the outlet of the leakage chamber has the same diameter as the house connections. Fully compliant with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance guideline. Type PMO has no pressure build-up in the spray mill in the leakage chamber. This guarantees optimal cleaning. All elastomers are FDA approved.
  • Types ZD910 / ZD920 / ZD930. More information on request.
